Are services from Walton EMC available in all states?

Walton EMC services are only available in certain northeast Georgia counties, including Athens-Clarke, Barrow, Morgan and Newton. They are not available to areas in Loganville, Monroe, Social Circle, Watkinsville, Bishop, Rutledge or High Shoals.

Walton EMC is a nonprofit, cooperative electric utility that serves customers in the rural areas of Georgia. It receives financing from Cooperative Finance Corporation and does not receive loans from the government. On the third Saturday in June of each year, Walton EMC holds an annual meeting at the Walton County Agricultural Education Center. Members can voice their opinions in terms of how the organization should operate.
