How do you set the correct time on a computer?

To set the correct time on a Windows computer, click the Start button and go to the Control Panel. Once in the Control Panel, click "Clock, Language, and Region", select the Date and Time tab, then select "Change date and time". Double-click the number and move it up or down.

It is also possible to automatically update the time via an Internet server. To do this, navigate to the Date and Time tab and select the Internet Time tab. On this tab, select "Change Settings" and then click "Synchronize with an Internet Server". From here, select one of the time servers. The default time server is time.windows.com.
