How do you set up a PayPal account?

To set up a PayPal account, visit the official website, click on the Sign Up button at the top of the page, and choose between a personal or business account. On the following pages, enter information pertaining to the account, including an email address and password.

Once signed up for a PayPal account, the company sends a confirmation to your chosen email account. You must enter a debit or credit card that PayPal can use to fund the newly created account. You can also elect to enter checking or savings account information, and after confirmation, you can use this account to fund purchases made with your email account at a variety of storefronts.
