When was shareholder-services provider EquiServe acquired by Computershare?

Computershare finalized the acquisition of EquiServe on June 2005. The Australian stock transfer company paid the owner of EquiServe, DST Systems Incorporated, 307 million dollars in cash and stock, according to the Boston Business Journal.
EquiServe was one of the largest shareholder service providers in the United States with around 1,500 companies and 19 million shareholders. Google Incorporated is among its most notable clients, as reported by the Boston Business Insider. Computershare, on the other hand, is based in Melbourne and provides corporate trust, stock transfer and employee transfer plan services in 20 countries including the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.
