How do you show character count in Microsoft Word?
By Forinfos - 06/04/2026 - 0 comments
Find the character count of a document by clicking on the word count button on the status bar at the bottom of the page. The word count button will display a text box in the middle of the document stating the character count with and without spaces, number of lines, word and page count.
The word count will automatically display at all times in the status bar. If the character or word count of a particular section is needed, simply highlight the section, then click on the word count box in the status bar and the character count of that section will show instead of the full document.
