In some patients, severe swelling of the brain occurs within the first several days of treatment. Patients experiencing particularly serious side effects such as easy bleeding, yellowing of the eyes and skin, high fever, sensitivity to light, and eye pain should report these to a doctor immediately, as they may be signs of a severe infection or allergic reaction.
