How do you sign up for a Windows Live email account?

To sign up for a Windows Live account, go to the Microsoft account sign-up webpage and enter your information. Enter your first and last name, and then click where it says "get a new email address." Fill out the rest of your information and click Create Account.

If you already have a Hotmail account, an Xbox Live ID or an Outlook.com account, then you already have a Windows Live ID and can sign in after you create your account. This option only requires you to validate your email address to prove it is yours. Once your account is created, you can connect your Facebook, Twitter, Gmail or other social media accounts to import contacts.
