The Smart Key tool comes with step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow. Also included with the instructions are pictures and diagrams to illustrate the proper way to insert and use Smart Key.

Smart Key is a device that allows the user to automatically rekey compatible locks using a special tool. To operate Smart Key, the user must have a key that currently works in the lock, a new key and a tool for rekeying the lock. The user first inserts the current key, and then inserts the Smart Key tool alongside it to reset the lock. Once the lock has been reset, it can be rekeyed to work with the new key.
