What software is used to remix a song?

Many music-remixing programs are available, but some of the most popular include Mixxx, Kramixer and Ultramixer 2. All these programs offer many features and allow users to remix music files from their computers.

These free programs allow users to put effects in their music, including reverb, echo and low pass. They also allow users to make edits to files. Although Mixx and Kramixer allow users to record their remixes to MP3 or WAV format, Ultramixer 2 requires an upgrade to at least the basic version to save remixes. Additionally, while Mixxx and Ultramixer 2 are available for Windows, Mac and Linux, Kramixer is only available for Windows.
