How do you sort by sender in Gmail?
By Forinfos - 21/02/2026 - 0 comments
To sort messages by sender in Gmail, hover over the name of the sender of interest and then click the "mail" link. This shows all email messages from that sender. Alternatively, type "from:" and then the name of the sender into the search box and hit Enter.
The Gmail user interface is built around using search to find messages, rather than using traditional sorts and filters. To make it easy to find messages, use the tagging system to add labels to mail as it is received. Labels in Gmail are similar to folders in traditional email clients and are used as a shortcut for the searches that are performed most frequently.
