How do you speed up Chrome?

To speed up Google Chrome, access the Settings menu, disable the plugins and extensions that you don't use, clear the browsing data, and empty the cache. Finally, download the Google Software Removal Tool, and use it to remove any malware that negatively affects Chrome.
- Disable unnecessary plugins
Start Google Chrome via the Start menu, and type “about:plugins†in the address bar. Once you press Enter, a new window displaying every installed plugin should appear. Click on the Disable link for every plugin you wish to disable. All plugins can be safely disabled, although you should keep Adobe Flash and Silverlight enabled, if you watch video content online.
- Disable unnecessary extensions
Click on the Menu button in the top-right corner, and select the Settings option. In the navigation bar on the left, click on Extensions. Uncheck the boxes next to the extensions that you don’t need. If you want to uninstall them completely, click on the trash bin icon, and click on Remove.
- Clear the browsing data
Press the H key, while holding down Ctrl, and click on the Clear Browsing Data button. Check all of the boxes, select the Beginning of Time option from the drop-down menu, and click on Clear Browsing Data.
- Use the Google Software Removal Tool to remove malware
Download the removal tool from the Google Chrome home page, and run it once it's downloaded. If the browser doesn’t restart automatically, do it manually.
