What is a reloading bench?

A reloading bench is a storage and workspace unit designed to change ammunition to different forms. It provides a place for re-loaders to work, while keeping their tools and materials organized. Reloading benches can be large and placed, or small and portable.

Reloading benches are available for purchase, but can also be homemade.

When making a homemade reloading bench, be sure to create a large work space and enough storage to hold all the required reloading equipment. Make a heavy bench to make sure it stays still and steady during resizing.

Most manufactured reloading benches come with extra drawers, shelves and pockets to hold tools and materials not in use.
