How should Hodgdon reloading powders be stored?

Hodgdon Reloading Powders needs to be stored in original containers when not in use. Leaving powder in the reloader's powder measure hoppers for extended periods, overnight or several days, should be avoided.
Smokeless powders contain both nitrocellulose and nitroglycerine, which adversely react when in contact with plastics containing polystyrene over extended periods of time. Normal reloading does not give adequate time for this to occur. Drain hoppers into the original containers when the reloading is complete.
Never mix any two powders regardless of type, brand or source. Never substitute any smokeless powder for black powder or any black powder substitute.
