What is a link spring for a daybed?
By Forinfos - 06/11/2025 - 0 comments
A link spring is the heavy-duty bed frame for a daybed. Using a link spring eliminates the need for a box spring and allows the mattress to flex and last longer.
At the heart of this link spring is a rectangular frame, which is composed of a linked grid wire mesh that provides an energy-absorbing support system. The mesh grid helps distribute the mattress weight and body weight. The daybed link spring is attached to the two side panels or ends of the daybed frame to create a strong, stable daybed. If polyester or nylon mesh is used, it is sometimes called a poly link spring.
