What are standard toilet dimensions?

There are no universal standard toilet dimensions. The two most common are one piece and two piece gravity toilets with round or elongated bowls. Standard dimensions vary for both, and are from floor to rim 14 or 15 inches high, 27 to 32 inches deep, and 20 inches wide.
ADA-compliant toilet standards require a 16.5-inch floor to rim dimension. Tankless or wall-mounted toilets do not store water for flushing and have a different range of dimensions. These types of toilets are still typically mounted with 14 to 17 inches from floor to rim, regardless of the actual toilet dimensions. They can vary from 13 to 19 inches high, 14 to 18 inches wide, and 20 to 26 inches deep.
