Some of these topics are nuclear plants, pressure technology, pipe construction, elevator and escalator construction, hand tools, cranes, general construction and engineering design.
The ASME codes and standards are developed by a team of volunteer scientists, engineers and government workers who create a set of best practices to ensure the safety in engineering construction and design. These committees use real-world experience and expertise in the field to develop the standards used in over 100 countries around the world.
