Where is the Stanford University School of Medicine located?

The Stanford University School of Medicine is located at the Stanford Medical Center on Campus Drive in Stanford, California. It is a private school and provides Doctor of Philosophy, Master in Science and Doctor of Medicine graduate degrees.

Stanford's School of Medicine was originally called the Medical Department of the University of the Pacific and located in San Francisco, California. In 1908, Stanford acquired the school and moved it to the Stanford campus in 1959. As of 2015, there are 3498 students and 1948 full-time faculty members. Of those faculty members, seven are Nobel Prize winners and 31 are members of the National Academy of Sciences.
