What is steam boiler piping?
By Forinfos - 12/04/2026 - 0 comments
Steam boiler piping carries stream from a boiler heating system to the radiators and returns water from condensed steam to the boiler for reheating and recirculation. Steam piping is a crucial component in every boiler heating system.
In a single piping system, one pipe serves to carry steam to the radiators and return water to the boiler after the steam cools into condensate. A dual piping system has separate piping dedicated to either steam delivery to the radiators or water return to the boiler.
Periodic maintenance of boiler heating systems is necessary to detect leaks, corrosion and any hazardous increase in system pressure.
