How do I know if my struts are going bad?
By Forinfos - 17/02/2026 - 0 comments
When operating a vehicle, if the vehicle noticeably sways on turns, tilts when accelerating or breaking, bounces or bottoms out during regular use more than usual, or if there is damage to the strut housing or abnormal wear on the tires, then the struts need to be replaced. When the struts go bad, the suspension of the vehicle is too loose.
Having worn or old struts puts unnecessary stress on other parts of a vehicle. When the struts are bad, the tires take a lot of pressure and the body of the car can be damaged by bottoming out. Routine checkups are important for the shocks or struts of a vehicle, and if the suspension feels loose while in operation, it could mean that the struts need to be replaced.
