Superior Clay Corporation makes its pizza ovens near Uhrichsville, Ohio. The plant was built more than 100 years ago and employs craftsmen to create handcrafted products from select, local clay.

In addition to its other clay products, Superior Clay creates the main components necessary to build brick masonry ovens, which are heated by a fire built inside the oven chamber. The company provides a materials list, plan and installation instructions to guide the assembly in a kitchen or backyard. These technical documents are available for 18 inch, 24 inch, 36 inch or 48 inch interior-diameter ovens. Brick, tile, stone or stucco finishing materials complete the exterior of the oven.
