Sweetie Pie's at the Mangrove is located at 4270 Manchester in St. Louis, Missouri. The restaurant also has another location, The Upper Crust, in the city at 3643 Delmar Boulevard as of 2015.

Sweetie Pie's serves made-from-scratch soul food. Some of the items on its menu include chicken wings, catfish, fried pork chops, spare ribs and meatloaf. Side dishes include green beans, collard greens, mac and cheese, black eyed peas and okra.

The restaurant is famous because of the reality television series "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" that airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network. The show focuses on the realities of running a business and passing that knowledge down to future generations.
