What is the syntax for using the md command in DOS 5.0?

The "md" command takes only the directory name as an argument, so its syntax is "md" followed by the directory you want to create. You can input a drive letter to create a directory anywhere or omit the drive letter to create a directory within the working directory.
If you are in the C:DOC directory, the command "md c:doc eports" is the same as the command "md reports"; the former command works from any directory, while the latter only works when you are in the DOC directory. The command "md" is simply a shortcut for the "mkdir" command, which is a part of many operating systems aside from DOS.
