Where are the AT&T headquarters in Dallas located?

The AT&T Corporate Office in downtown Dallas is located at 208 South Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202. This location is also known as Whitacre Tower.

AT&T, or the American Telephone & Telegraph Corporation, was established in Boston in 1885 as part of the Bell Telephone company. The corporation was split up into regional operating companies in 1982 after being deemed a monopoly by U.S. regulators. AT&T was then acquired by SBC in 2005. Corporate headquarters was moved from San Antonio to downtown Dallas in 2008. Its current location in Whitacre Tower is home to AT&T's executive team, as well as the operations of AT&T Southwest. Whitacre Tower is named after Edward Whitacre, Jr., a former AT&T chief executive.
