Is Target open on Christmas?

Target stores are not going to be open on Christmas Day in 2014. This is according to a press release issued by the Minneapolis-based Target Corporation on Nov. 10, 2014.

Target stores are scheduled to be open on Christmas Eve in 2014 from 7 a.m. to 9 or 10 p.m., depending on the region. Stores are closed on Dec. 25, 2014, but then re-open at 7 a.m. the following day. Target provides customers with extended store hours throughout the holiday season for their convenience. The company works closely with employees to understand scheduling preferences, and attempts to provide equitable compensation to staff during the busy holiday shopping season.
