Which tattoo is right for me?

The "right" tattoo is a matter of personal preference. However, there are a number of factors that go into getting a tattoo that won't bring on feelings of regret later, according to KQED Arts.
Lizzy Acker at KQED Arts explains that one of the first things to consider when getting a tattoo is whether the tattoo will stand the test of time. It's best not to choose images that are trendy or won't be preferable after a few years. Tattoos that reflect beauty or the unique nature of a person's personality are also a good idea. The size of the tattoo depends on whether it's appropriate for it to show at all times. For instance, a large tattoo on the arm or leg is likely not fitting for an office setting.
