To clean a CD, hold the CD under running water, use liquid soap to remove spots from the CD, remove the excess water by shaking the CD and allow it to air dry. This process takes about 20 minutes and requires soap.
- Use running water
Rinse off dust from the CD with running water.
- Remove spots
Use a little soap with the water to rub spots off of a CD. Use your fingers to wipe the CD from the inside to the outside in a straight line. Use can use rubbing alcohol and eyeglass cloth instead of soap and water.
- Dry the CD
Shake the CD to remove excess water. Allow the CD to sir dry indoors.
