A Virgin Mobile payLo phone is a cell phone with the payLo service, a prepaid cell phone plan from Virgin Mobile. The prepaid cell phone plan does not require a contract and is offered at three different price points as of 2015.

The plans the Virgin Mobile payLo service offers are tiered, and the prices are based on amount of minutes, texts and megabytes of Internet data for each month of use. Once a customer goes over the amount of minutes, texts or data allotted in a plan for the month, he has the option of purchase more units at a higher price, or purchasing another monthly package early.
