What is the temperature of the freshwater biome?
By Forinfos - 19/10/2025 - 0 comments
Freshwater biomes' temperatures vary greatly from the mid 70s in the summer and fall all the way down to freezing in the winter seasons. These temperatures can go above or below these median temperatures if there are abnormal weather patterns influencing the area. Freshwater biomes include lakes, streams, ponds, rivers and wetlands.
Animals in these types of biomes cannot survive in the high salt content of an ocean biome. The wetlands, which make up a portion of the freshwater biomes, have the highest species diversity of any ecosystem. Wetlands can actually be found in both fresh and salt water biomes. Each type of wetland is home to different types of animals.
