How do you temporarily waterproof your phone?

To temporarily waterproof a phone, simply put it inside a new Ziploc bag, and seal the zipper. You can then wrap the excess plastic around the back of the phone, and secure it with a piece of tape.

1. Place the device inside an unused Ziploc bag

   Put your smartphone, tablet or flip-phone inside a sealable Ziploc bag. If waterproofing a flip-phone, close it, and wrap the bag around the screen and dial pad.

2. Wrap the excess bag around the back

   After securing the bag, grab the extra material, and pull it tight around the back of the device.

3. Tape the excess plastic

   Use a piece of tape to secure the excess plastic from the Ziploc bag at the back of the device.
