Is testicular cancer visible in photographs?

Doctors can view testicular cancer through an ultrasound, the standard imaging technique used in identifying the disease, according to the American Cancer Society. Patients experiencing swelling, tenderness or bumps -- the common symptoms of testicular cancer -- often undergo the screening.
The test uses sound waves from a small, handheld instrument to produce images of internal organs. The sound waves echo as they bounce off the organs, and the pattern creates a computer image. Doctors then use the pattern to differentiate benign conditions from solid tumors that may be cancerous. Any solid lumps then receive further testing, as explained by WebMD.
