Three geographical features in France are the French Alps, the Pyrenees Mountains and the Rhine River. The French Alps cover the distance between the Mediterranean Sea and the Rhine River. They are also home to Mont Blanc peak, which is the tallest mountain in Western Europe at 15,750 feet.
The Pyrenees Mountains extend over 270 miles and lie on the border between France and Spain. The highest peak in the mountain range is the Pico de Aneto at 11,168 feet. The Rhine River flows between the approximate border between France and Germany. On the French side of the Rhine lies the city of Strasbourg, which is the official location of the European Parliament.
