What are some facts about tiger habitats?
By Forinfos - 05/04/2026 - 0 comments
Tigers, unlike most other cats, are strong swimmers and prefer to live in areas with a lot of water. Tigers are native to Asia. They are adaptive creatures and can thrive in swamps, grasslands, taiga, and many kinds of forests, but they prefer areas with cover that provides camouflage.
The majority of tigers' natural habitat has been destroyed as of 2015 and three subspecies have become extinct since the mid-twentieth century. However, tigers adapt well to life in captivity. Parks and nature reserves around the world help to protect the remaining subspecies of tigers from extinction. Tigers are also a common attraction in circuses.
