What are some time and clock learning activities for kids?

To learn how to tell time, students can compare relative times by organizing daily activities into a timeline. The teacher asks the students to note what time they perform specific activities such as traveling to school, watching a favorite show or eating dinner.

Students can distinguish a.m. and p.m. times based on the time of day in which their related activities occur. For example, a student may go to school at 8 a.m. and go to bed at 8 p.m.
