Do you tip tow truck drivers?
By Forinfos - 15/07/2025 - 0 comments
Provide a tip to a service provider who gives efficient and friendly service. A tip of $3 to $10 is recommended for tow services, including lock-out service, roadside assistance, jump starts or towing.
Tow truck drivers receive compensation from the service organization, and tipping is not mandatory. Tip a tow truck driver who provides exceptional service or goes out of his way. Also consider how extreme the conditions are in which the service provider is working when deciding how and when to tip. Tow calls in heavy rain and snowstorms may warrant a tip, where routine service on a nice day may not.
