Does titanium conduct electricity?

Titanium is able to conduct electricity and heat, but it does so poorly. It is also very resistant to corrosion, and to damage from many acids, so it is a good choice of metal in hostile environments where heat, electricity and corrosion could be potentially damaging.

For example, titanium is widely used in the aerospace industry, especially for jet airliners. NASA used titanium extensively in the construction of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules, as well as the space shuttle Discovery. These machines have numerous electronic components that need protection, both from outside damage and from damaging passengers or other mechanical components.
