Some tourist towns in Massachusetts include Boston and Salem. Both of these towns date back to the Colonial Era and feature fun and historic activities.
In Boston, visitors can walk the Freedom Trail and visit the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum, where America's founding fathers dumped tea into the harbor to protest taxes. Other sites and activities include a trolley tour, an evening ghost tour and a duck boat tour that is part on land and part water ride.
Salem offers a terror trail where visitors can learn more about the Salem witchcraft trials, including accusers, defendants and outcomes. There is an evening guided ghost tour of the town and a tour of the areas used by smugglers.
