What is the track record for Harry Dent's predictions?

As of 2015, Harry Dent has a poor track record in making accurate economic predictions, according to CBS News and AVA Investment Analytics. Although he correctly predicted major stock market growth in the late 1990s, many of his subsequent predictions have proved false.
In his 1999 book "The Roaring 2000s," Dent predicted significant growth in the stock market between 2000 and 2010, but the S&P actually declined by 9 percent over the decade. He predicted that a massive boom market would extend from 2006 to 2010, but this period actually produced one of the worst bear markets in history. Dent also headed two mutual funds that performed poorly.
