Trader Joes does not offer online purchasing for home delivery, as of 2015. It sells products only in the company's brick-and-mortar stores, with most stores open from 8 a.m to 9 p.m.
Founded in 1958, Trader Joe's began Pronto Markets before a name change in 1967. After changing the name, the company also changed the identity of the store, by adding decor and having the employees wear Hawaiian shirts.
Trader Joe's focuses on unconventional items. The stores frequently bring in new products and either sells a limited supply or keeps the product as long as it sells well. Trader Joe's offers a Fearless Flyer, which has information and stories about products and the store.
