John Nash was born in 1928 and it wasn't long before his parents realized he was a gifted child. His mother pushed him to learn Latin and he began reading at the age of 4. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and married Alicia in 1957. Shortly after Alicia became pregnant, Nash began exhibiting bizarre behavior and several years later was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. He began taking anti-psychotic drugs which helped for a while. When his symptoms returned, his wife had him committed.
