To draw a simple petal flower, start by creating a circle, which represents the center of the flower. Next, add petals to the periphery of the circle, starting with four petals opposing each other. Add more petals around the center to fill in the empty spaces. Add a stem by drawing two vertical lines, starting slightly left of center. Add definition by adding a few lines with a slight arch in a few of the prominent petals and a few squiggly lines in the center of the flower.
