Fruitcake is a dense, rich cake made with chunks of candied fruit and nuts. Many people consider Jane Parker fruitcakes to be one of the best store-bought fruitcakes.

A&P ceased operations in 2015 after 156 years in business. Its fruitcakes were available for purchase on Amazon.com but as of December 2015, the site indicates the product is not available.
