Are U.S. Circuit Court records freely accessible?

U.S. Circuit Court records are not accessible for free, but they are available via private fee-based providers. Examples of such providers include Lexis-Nexis, WestLaw and VersusLaw.

Circuit courts have only been available for a couple of years, as of 2015, and they include information from both the private and public sectors. The records for the public sector maintained by the Administrative Office of the United States courts and most courts offer access to circuit courts in exchange for a fee. The fee-based private providers provide access to circuit courts from the private on a per decision basis for state and federal cases.
