Does a U.S. citizen need a visa to visit Singapore?

As of 2015, U.S. citizens do not need a visa to visit Singapore so long as they do not stay for more than 90 days and are traveling for business or tourist purposes. Travelers entering Singapore for other reasons and those intending to stay past 90 days require visas.

In order to be granted entry to Singapore without a visa, U.S. citizens must have a valid passport containing at least two blank pages. The passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of entry, and the traveler must have a confirmed exit or return travel reservation. Additionally, U.S. citizens may not enter Singapore with more than 30,000 Singapore dollars.
