Which universal stacking kit works best with Kenmore appliances?

The universal stacking kit that works best with Kenmore appliances as of 2015 is the 27-inch chrome look stacking kit, model number KSTK1. The KSTK1 works with Kenmore, Kenmore Elite and LG high-efficiency front-load washers and dryers, with a few exceptions.

The stacking kit is available from online retailers, including Kmart and the Kenmore website, for roughly $35. However, it is not suitable for Kenmore models 41122, 81122 and 91122. An alternative product is stacking kit 10050, which was designed for the Kenmore models not covered by the KSTK1 and is also compatible with all Frigidaire front-load washers and dryers. It is slightly cheaper at around $30 and is also available from Kmart and Kenmore.
