Many financial services and news companies, such as Bloomberg, MSN and Reuters, provide up-to-date stock quotes for publicly traded securities on their websites. As of July 2015, these quotes sometimes have a 15- to 20-minute lag, reports Google, but live information is available for select exchanges.
Google provides real-time information for stock trades executed on several major exchanges, including the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and London Stock Exchange, according to its Finance website. Other exchanges with real-time data include the Canadian Securities Exchange, Deutsche Börse Frankfurt Stock Exchange, Moscow Exchange, Singapore Exchange and Taiwan Stock Exchange. Examples of exchanges for which stocks are not real-time include the Toronto Stock Exchange, which has a 15-minute delay; Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, with a 20-minute delay; and Hong Kong Stock Exchange, also reporting with a 15-minute delay.
