What is a USB microscope driver?
By Forinfos - 08/03/2025 - 0 comments
A USB microscope driver is a driver that is needed to run and control a plugable USB digital microscope on a computer. On installation, the USB microscope driver replaces the default web cam driver on the computer.
When a digital microscope is plugged into a computer using USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 it uses the default webcam driver on the computer. The default webcam driver only runs the microscope but cannot control it, whereas the USB microscope driver helps to magnify the digital microscope to 50x optical zoom and up to 200x digital zoom. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
