How do you use Siri on an iPad?

If you have an iPad 3 or later running iOS 6.0 or later, you have access to Siri, Apple's digital assistant. To start using Siri on an iPad, access Settings, turn on Siri and make sure you have Internet access enabled on your iPad.

1. Confirm that you are connected to the Internet

   Siri requires an active connection to the Internet. Make sure your iPad is connected to the Internet via either a Wi-Fi or 3G connection by visibly confirming the Internet connection symbol on the main screen.

2. Access the general settings

   Tap Settings on your iPad, and tap General to access the correct group of settings.

3. Turn on Siri

   Tap the Siri button, and move the slider from Off to On to begin using the service.
