Colored flexible polyurethane foam cushions are used in certain commercial products, such as carpet packaging, bedding, car interiors and wood furniture. Rigid colored polyurethane foam is used in thermal insulation systems to save on energy and maintenance costs.

This type of polyurethane is used on residential and commercial homes for windows, doors and air sealants, and insulation on walls.

Colored polyurethanes enhance the appearance and increase the lifespan of coatings, sealants, adhesives and elastomers. Thermoplastic colored polyurethane is used in fabrication methods, mostly in construction sites, the automotive industry and footwear. Colored polyurethane is combined with nylon to make lightweight and flexible garments used in sports clothes.
