All 1963 $5 bills have a red seal on the right hand side of the bill with serial numbers also printed in red ink. There were 63 million 1963 bills put into circulation, all printed in Washington D.C. The bills were signed by Kathryn O’Hay Granahan as Treasurer of The United States and by C. Douglas Dillon as the Treasurer of The U.S.
