Arizona residents can get their vehicles' emissions tested at Phoenix Tire or Vascor LTD. Phoenix Tire is located at W. 4820 Buckeye Road and Vascot LTD is in S. 904 12th Street. Call them at 602-269-2509 and 602-258-6025, respectively.
Car owners in Arizona must get their vehicles tested for emission within 90 days of registration or renewal. While cars made in 1981 and after require renewal every two years, older vehicles require renewal every year. Vehicles that are exempt from emission inspections include vehicles whose engines are under 90 cubic centimeters, collectible vehicles, motorcycles and alternative fuel vehicles that are not older than five years.
